Spring is in the air and Dean Bank would like to introduce you to a new feature we’re unveiling. It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of Dean Bank’s official blog! After launching several social media pages in the past few years, the time is right to provide a social channel through which we can share additional resources for YOU, our valued customers and neighbors. We plan to feature a wide array of topics from financial tips to security and technology updates to local events, news and other items that are important to you.

What exactly IS a blog?

Blog (/bläÉ¡/) noun. A regularly updated website or web page, typically run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

A blog, derived from the term “weblog” or “web log,” is a website consisting of entries, or posts, displayed in reverse chronological order with the most recent entry appearing first. If you’re imagining a sort of online diary, you’ve got it!

Why start a blog?

Put simply, a blog is a convenient, easy-to-use platform for connecting with our community and sharing timely, relevant information with our customers. In our ever-connected world, a blog can serve as a direct channel of communication for vital security updates, financial literacy insights, budgeting advice and information about the goings on in our vibrant community. We plan to use this blog to share our banking expertise and give you insight into changing trends in the market.

Can I get involved?

Many hands will contribute to the maintenance of this blog! We’ll be sourcing content ideas and feature posts from our employees, and you can be a guest blogger too!
