Construction Continues in Dean Bank Main Office

Kevin Goffe, CEO

Since March 9th the construction crew has been very busy with demolition of the old branch space and an area near the rear entrance where our Financial Services Group once called home.  The old branch space has been cleaned out to the bones.   The temporary branch area is cozier and customers and staff seem to be adjusting well.  I was told the noise level wasn’t too bad during the demolition, but the constant beeping of the mechanical lift used to access the vaulted ceiling was very annoying.  The next two weeks may be a little bit louder as steel beams are put in place to support the new second floor offices.  Steel beam reinforcement will also be needed in the floor to support the new vestibule area containing the ATM and Night Drop.

The Main Street entrance will be closed through June.  However, our Main Street ATM is still operating.  I hope to inform you of a specific date of closure soon.  For now continue to use our rear entrance located off the parking area on Dean Avenue.
